ABA therapy for children — FAQs
What age is best for ABA therapy?+
ABA is effective at any age, but research shows that early intervention (ages 2–6) produces the greatest gains. The brain’s plasticity during these years means skills develop faster and generalize more readily. We accept children of all ages.
How many hours per week does my child need?+
Hours are determined by your child’s assessment and individualized treatment plan. Some children receive 10 hours per week, others 40. Your BCBA will recommend the appropriate intensity based on your child’s needs and your family’s capacity.
Where does therapy take place?+
We deliver therapy at home, in school, in the community, and in clinical settings — wherever your child learns best. In-home therapy is especially effective because it generalizes skills in the natural environment.
Will I be involved in my child’s therapy?+
Absolutely. Parent involvement is a core part of our approach. We provide parent training and coaching so you can reinforce skills throughout the day, not just during sessions.
