Do you serve both New Jersey and Pennsylvania?
Yes, and the systems around ABA differ by state, so we help you understand yours. In New Jersey, the 2009 autism insurance mandate requires many state-regulated plans to cover medically necessary ABA. Children under 3 may be served by the state Early Intervention System, and after 3 the school district's Child Study Team handles evaluations and IEPs.
In Pennsylvania, Act 62 of 2008 is the state's autism insurance law, Medical Assistance can cover ABA through Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), and Early Intervention serves children from birth to 5. In both states, self-funded employer plans follow federal rules, which is why we check every family's benefits for free.

Is in-home ABA as effective as center-based ABA?
Both can be effective; they serve different goals. In-home ABA is strong for daily living skills and family routines, while center-based care adds structured group learning and peer practice. The BCBA recommends a setting, or a mix, based on your child's assessment.
Do you serve Ocean County even though it is far from your center?
