Which Washington Township do you serve?
New Jersey has several towns called Washington Township, so this page is for the one in Gloucester County, which includes Turnersville and borders Deptford. It sits along Route 42, south of Camden County. Woodbury is the county seat.
Our center in Cherry Hill is about 12 miles away. We want to be upfront about that: for most families here, in-home therapy is the better everyday choice, and the center is an option rather than the default. Our Gloucester County page explains how we cover the rest of the county.
Families here also have their own county system to work with. Children under 3 are served through New Jersey's Early Intervention System, and from age 3 your local school district's Child Study Team handles evaluations and IEPs. ABA through your health insurance sits alongside both.
How does in-home ABA work for Gloucester County families?
With In-Home ABA Therapy, a Registered Behavior Technician comes to your house on a set schedule and works with your child on the goals in their treatment plan. A BCBA supervises regularly, both by reviewing data and by joining sessions to watch, coach and adjust.
Home sessions target the skills that matter in your house: communicating wants instead of crying, following a morning routine, tolerating haircuts or new foods, playing alongside a sibling. Because the therapist teaches in your child's real environment, those skills tend to stick where you need them.
Home programs also make it easier for the whole family to take part. Siblings can join play-based sessions, and parents can step in to practice with the therapist nearby. When a skill works at home with the people your child sees every day, it has a much better chance of lasting.

When is the trip to Cherry Hill worth it?
Some children need more hours, more structure or more peer practice than home can easily offer. For them, Full-Day Center-Based ABA can be worth the trip, at least for part of the week. Families sometimes plan center days around a parent's commute toward Camden County.
Other families keep therapy fully at home and add community sessions, practicing skills at stores, playgrounds and other everyday places. Your BCBA will lay out the tradeoffs honestly and recommend a mix, and nothing is locked in. Families in nearby Deptford make the same choice.
What do community-based ABA sessions look like?
Some of the most important skills only show up outside the house: waiting in line, staying close to a parent in a parking lot, ordering food, coping with a noisy store. In community sessions, your child's therapist practices those skills in real places with your family, starting with short, easy outings and building up.
These outings follow the same plan as home sessions, with clear goals and data collection. They are part of our School & Community-Based ABA program and are especially useful for Gloucester County families who do most of their therapy at home.
How do parents keep progress going between sessions?
When the center is farther away, what happens between sessions matters even more. Our Parent Training & Support program teaches you how to use reinforcement, prompt a skill and then fade your help, and respond to challenging behavior consistently.
A BCBA coaches you during real routines, then checks in on how it went. Parents tell us this is where they start to feel more confident, because they have a plan for the hard moments instead of guessing.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a location in Washington Township or Gloucester County?
No. Our only center is at 1939 NJ-70 in Cherry Hill, about 12 miles from Washington Township. We serve Gloucester County families mainly through in-home and community ABA, and families who want center-based days travel to Cherry Hill. Our in-home therapists already work across the county.
Do you serve Turnersville?
Yes. Turnersville is part of Washington Township, and our in-home team serves it along with the rest of the township. Scheduling depends on therapist availability in your area, so we confirm specific days and times during your free consultation. Ask about current openings, since we often can start quickly.
Is in-home ABA as effective as center-based ABA?
Both can work well. The right setting depends on your child's needs, the number of hours recommended and your family's routines. Home is strong for daily living skills and family routines, while the center adds peers and group structure. Your BCBA will recommend a setting based on the assessment.
How often does a BCBA see my child during in-home therapy?
A BCBA supervises your child's program on a regular schedule, reviewing session data and joining sessions in person to observe and coach. The exact frequency depends on your child's plan and your insurance requirements. Our low caseloads mean your BCBA has time to know your child. You will always know who your BCBA is and how to reach them.
Does my school district provide ABA, or do I need insurance?
They are separate. Your district's Child Study Team decides on school services through the IEP, which may or may not include ABA-based supports. Home ABA is usually billed to health insurance. Many children receive both. We can share data with your school team when you ask us to.
What do I need for my first call?
Just your insurance card and a little about your child. If you have a diagnosis report from a developmental pediatrician or psychologist, have it handy. Call (732) 691-1299 and we will check your benefits for free and explain each next step. There is no cost or commitment for the consultation.
Can my child do center days some weeks and stay home others?
Schedules work best when they are consistent, so we usually build a steady weekly pattern rather than switching week to week. That said, plans can change as your child grows. If you want to add or drop center days, your BCBA will review the data with you and update the plan and authorization.
